Royal Marine Cadets in pass out parade

The Volunteer Royal Marine Cadet Corps who are based at 45 Cdo RM Condor Arbroath held their Pass Out Parade recently.

The Troops 192 & 221 all received their awards at the event which was held on camp within The Bewley Hall in the presence of proud parents and grandparents, with special guests, Commanding Officer of 45 Cdo, Lt Col Edward Hall RM MBE, and his Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) Mike Cowe RM.

The cadets were presented with the following awards:

Troop 192: The Belle Isle Award - Cadet Flynn Anderson; Diamond Award – Keirn Rodger. Troop 221: The Belle Isle Award - Fraser Walker. Birchys Royal Charity Trophy (In memory of Cpl Marc Birch) for the most improved cadet went to Cadet Owen Cameron.

Best attendance for training nights went to Recruit Joe Millan. Commanders Coin for outstanding dedication went to Cadet Flynn Anderson & Cadet Keirn Rodger. Promotions went to L/Cpl Flynn Anderson & L/Cpl Owen Cameron.

All the cadets looked very smart in their No 1 uniforms, and the following were presented with their Peak Caps with white belt and clasp: Cadet Owen Cameron, Cadet Flynn Anderson, Cadet Keirn Rodger, Recruit Rebecca Ansell, Recruit Joe Millan, Recruit Luke Rodger, Recruit Fraser Walker.
