The online event will be themed ‘Why Relationships Matter In Good Autism Practice’ and will feature a mix of autistic and non-autistic speakers delivering a variety of presentations that will shine a light on the ways in which autistic people’s relationships can be recognised, understood and supported.

Whether those are relationships with one another, with family members, with partners, or between supported people and professionals.

The charity is also providing a ‘Pay What You Can’ option for autistic people and families, enabling them to choose how much they pay to attend the conference or receive the content after the event. This is in recognition of the ongoing cost of living crisis, and a desire to ensure the conference is as inclusive and accessible as possible. A separate conference rate is in place for those attending in a professional capacity.

Full details of the speakers at the conference and other information, including how to sign-up to attend, can be found at https://www.scottishautismconference.org/

Charlene Tait, Deputy CEO of Scottish Autism said: “We hope that by holding the conference online, autistic people from around the world will join us. "
