"Our teams have been working hard to secure suitable new premises and get them ready to welcome patients next month for their winter vaccines.”

NHS Tayside has been working through the priority groups for the winter vaccination programme with care home visits, home visits and health and social care staff clinics taking place over the first two to three weeks. Vaccinations for the general public, starting with over 80s, began this week in vaccination centres and other community venues across Tayside.

The remainder of people in at-risk groups will be invited over the coming weeks, including those with certain health conditions, unpaid carers, immunosuppressed households and 50-64-year-olds.

Both of the new centres have parking onsite and disabled access.
