Comedy fans set for double whammy

Local comedy fans are set for a brace of top tour shows this October when two of the county’s favourite comedians bring their latest hit shows to Dundee’s Whitehall Theatre.

Star of TV sitcoms Bad Move, Lead Balloon and Josh, Jack also hosts the legendary Radio 4 show I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue. Additional credits include presenting Jack Dee’s Helpdesk on BBC Two, C4’s The Jack Dee Show, ITV’s Jack Dee’s Saturday Night, BBC’s Jack Dee’s Happy Hour and Jack Dee Live at the Apollo.

Established as one of Britain’s well-loved and biggest comedy stars, Jack Dee has captured the imagination of audiences and critics with his dry humour and deadpan delivery.

The author of a bestselling autobiography, Thanks for Nothing, Jack has also co-written and starred in four series of the BBC Two sitcom, Lead Balloon.

He developed and appeared in the collaborative live show called Jack Dee’s HelpDesk which toured live around the country and was broadcast on BBC Two in the run up to the 2015 general election, the 2016 EU referendum and the 2017 presidential inauguration. Also, in the run up to the EU referendum Jack starred in Channel 4’s topical comedy series Power Monkeys.

He will appear at the Whitehall on Thursday, October 6.

Milton Jones is a firm favourite from his many appearances on Radio4, Live At The Apollo and as a regular on Mock The Week. Milton will bring his hit sell-out show Milton: Impossible to the city theatre on Saturday, October 15.
